I am the one blinking at just the wrong time and we did not get a second chance to take the picture. Too Bad but oh well it was still a wonderful experience.

 I was very excited. I got to be on a local govement channel where they broadcast the city council meetings. I thought that was alot of fun and would like to be on some bigger stations. I just got word this morning that Mayor Tom Hughes of Hillsboro, Oregon the city I live and practice in is procliaming January 4th 2008 World Hypnotism Day. I am very grateful and excited. His office was very helpfull and friendly. My office partner and I were invited to accept the proclimation at the city council meeting on January 2nd. I have sent out press releases and so forth in an effort to get some press attention. I am putting on a event on January 4th at a local healing center to introduce hypnosis to public and do a group demenstration.

Thanks to the WHD staff that have made it so easy to get a proclimation and stretch out and do new things to build your practices.

Hi to everybody,

This is my first post. I will share  a little about myself. I use hypnosis, RET and EFT in my practice in Hillsboro Oregon. I have been involved in this work for about 2 years. I am always eager to learn more and more.

 I am looking for any ideas about setting up a booth. I have a booth at my local county fair in the portland area. I am sharing it with my office partner. We both have cd's that we have created that we will be selling.I have listened to Tom Nicoli's seminare and making your own cds and followed alot of his ideas.  I have got some really great ideas already but am open to anymore. The fair is in a week in a half.

Some of the ideas I am doing are:

Submitting a press release

Having some light therapy (Mind Eye Voyager) glasses for free 5 min sessions.

Also have a 7 minute sample hypno cd to listen to so they can experience hypnosis and hear my voice and music.

We will have a TV and DVD player to show differnent videos about hypnosis, RET and such.

We will have a wind sock to catch attention with movement

We are offering a sign up for a stress reduction basket valued at over $150

brochures, cards and  a newsletter on the law of attraction available.

The fair we are at has a entertainment hypnotist that does a great job of bringing in the crowds each year. He packs his shows. We will have a booth right across the walkway from him.
